It appears that while the US Army and USMC (in particular) are taking procurement holidays when it comes to new armored systems, the rest of the Pacific is charging full speed ahead.

The one that caught my eye the most here was actually the T-72 mod. That thing looks awesome. I wonder if they have better ammunition for the gun to follow suit.
ReplyDeleteKharkiv Morozov is Ukrainian so I'm curious if this is a subtle move to compete with the Russian market in India.
Its just a marketing excerise beind done by Kharkiv. As far as i am aware, the T-72 Upgrade is being done by various vendors with India's DRDO being the link organization. The night fighting ability is being imprted from Israel while the Air Conditioning units are locally made as is the ammunition and the ERA panels.
